FAQ's - You may have questions on what this means for your campus:

What is happening with CASHNet Software-as-a-Service and Support? 
CASHNet services will continue to be delivered through our hosting facilities to our customers.  Customers that have installed our eBill, ePayment, SmartPay, eMarket, Cashiering, eRefund, MyPaymentPlan and Departmental Deposits modules can continue to operate as you are today.  The subscription services under existing contracts will continue and for those in the process of acquiring one or more of our modules, CASHNet’s products, pricing and terms will be those presented to you by CASHNet. 

Support, Deployment, and Engineering for the products will continue as before.  You should continue to call the Customer Support line, 1-800-231-9182, for questions you may have regarding use or functionality of the CASHNet products. Continuing to provide outstanding service is a priority for both CASHNet and Higher One. 

Will CASHNet continue to have an office in California?
Yes.  

Why is this happening?
We recognize the challenges in delivering excellent customer service in the face of operating budget constraints, changing financial aid regulations, expanding enrollments, erratic funding, and information security concerns.  By integrating with Higher One, we will be able to extend service offerings to students and staff and expand the outstanding customer support we provide higher education institutions today. Through the Higher One and CASHNet connection, universities and colleges will have greater access to a full suite of best-in-class services for refunds, payments, and ecommerce offered and supported through one company. 

The combination of the two companies, CASHNet, a leader in full suite payment processing solutions and Higher One, the market leader in full service refund management, provide us an opportunity to deliver the most compelling value to universities and colleges.   

Will I continue to have access to CASHNet services?
Yes, absolutely!  This change is motivated by expanding services and choice for all customers.  

What will happen to our contract with CASHNet?
All agreements and terms will continue as before.  If you are in the process of purchasing our solution, the pricing and terms will be those presented to you by the CASHNet representative. 

Will our campus be expected to begin using Higher One for refunds or payroll?
The choice is always yours and there are now more choices available for your institution. 

Do you expect the company names to change?
No, we are proud to add the CASHNet name and reputation to the Higher One family. We both believe that brand recognition is important to all of our clients and future clients.

Will there be a combined service offering that may provide additional value to our campus?
Initially, the services provided by CASHNet and Higher One will remain intact as they exist currently. We want to enhance both Higher One’s OnePay and CASHNet’s e-Refund services to provide clients with added value. As always, your feedback is very important and we look forward to hearing your ideas on how and when we can enhance services. As enhancements are eventually available, we will work with you and provide resources and support to assist with any upgrades.
