IDC AND THE TEXAS COMMUNITY COLLEGE TEACHER’S ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC ALLIANCE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
San Francisco, CA. – January 19, 2004 – Informed Decisions Corp.™ (IDC) announced today that they have been selected by the Texas Community College Teacher's Association (TCCTA) as the vendor of choice for campus-wide commerce services. Under this Master Agreement, each of TCCTA's 81 affiliated community colleges can now deploy IDC’s flagship product, CASHNet® Commerce Center. Commerce Center provides colleges with secure and reliable billing and payment solutions that significantly reduce the cost of campus commerce. “We selected Commerce Center because of the comprehensive commerce capabilities the product provides and IDC's proven higher education experience,” says Richard Moore, Executive Director of TCCTA. He continues, “This agreement is great news for TCCTA member colleges. Colleges of any size now have affordable access to the industry's premier commerce solution allowing college business offices to focus on their core mission of improving business office operations and service levels instead of managing software technology.”
“We are truly excited about our partnership with TCCTA,” said Randy Steyer, Sr. Vice President, National Sales of IDC. “With our breakthrough approach to delivering commerce solutions we are able to leverage the economies of scale of the internet and provide unprecedented functionality to member TCCTA colleges at a fraction of the costs of conventional commerce products.” “Delivered via our secure data center,” Mr. Steyer continues, “all 81 community colleges now can enjoy the protection and peace of mind of a world-class security infrastructure and an extremely low ‘Total Cost of Ownership’ (TOC).”
CASHNet Commerce Center provides the institution greater control and management of all commerce collected on campus, enabling the institution to uniformly deploy campus business policies and procedures while providing the autonomy to campus departments to manage and operate their own storefront. All transactions are securely stored in the CASHNet database, expediting end-of-day reconciliation & balancing as well as reporting and auditing.

" CASHNet was by far one of the easiest and best implementations we have ever experienced. Once we understood the CASHNet terminology, and how to translate it into ours, it was smooth sailing. Throughout the setup and installation process requested changes were done very quickly and the CASHNet staff was responsive and effective."
