ePayment Maintenance for Campus Administrators

Abstract: This course will give the campus CASHNet administrators the tools needed to maintain and update the campus web payment site as well as answer customer questions.
Description: This course will discuss how to maintain the campus SmartPay and ePayment websites. Attendees will learn how to update the menu codes and item codes in order to accurately represent a student's payment options. In addition, you will learn how to create users and reports and how to process refunds, voids and reversals. Finally, the course will discuss the customer service aspect of web payments, identifying the common questions students ask and how to help them get the answers efficiently.

Abstract: This course will give the campus CASHNet eMarket administrators the tools needed to set up, maintain and monitor departmental storefronts.
Description: This hands-on course is designed for the campus personnel charged with implementing and overseeing the development of CASHNet eMarket sites on campus. The course will discuss topics including creating your merchant accounts, setting security parameters for your sites, using the Storefront wizard to create your stores and troubleshooting problems that may arise.

Description: This course will look in detail at the system tables that drive payment processing and departmental deposits, including item codes, endorsements and receipts. This hands-on class will help you to deal with seasonal table changes as well as create new locations for CASHNet processing on campus. Finally, you will learn to define security settings to ensure that the appropriate staff members can access the appropriate programs.

Description: This course will examine in detail how to transfer data from CASHNet into another campus system via a batch extract. This hands-on course will help participants to determine the criteria for identifying which transactions go to which extracts as well as build the batch file and determine the transfer parameters. Finally, participants will learn how to run the extract and create useful reports.

Credit Cards and ACH Payment Processing in CASHNet

Abstract: This course takes an in-depth look at setting up, processing, balancing and reporting on credit card and ACH transactions in version 5.
Description: Credit cards are increasingly becoming the payment method of choice on many campuses. This hands-on course will examine the credit card and ACH payment options available in CASHNet. You will determine what information is needed to set up the appropriate tables in CASHNet that govern these types of transactions. In addition, you will learn how to use ProtoBase® to settle your credit card transactions and how to set up and run your ACH batch file. Finally, you will learn how to create reports of these transactions as well as troubleshoot common problems which may occur.
